Definitely easier to use than the previous discs and cups I've had. However I would like the disc itself to be a bit bigger so it would hold more, it's a bit smaller than the nixit.
I still much prefer the the Hey zomi, the little handle thing makes using it SO much easier.

Clean, fuss free, no cramping, no worry about wet strings or leakage. BEST PRODUCT EVER!

I wasn't sure if this would work for me initially, but I wanted a more sustainable option for periods. It took a couple tries to get it into the right spot, but sure enough once it was in I had zero leaks and was very comfortable the whole time. I also felt like I smelled less and felt a lot cleaner than when I was using period undies or pads.

I found the best way to get it into the right spot was to crouch down, apply lube around the rim of the disc, then pinch the sides and insert it. Do a thumbs-down motion with your hand and use your thumb to push the disc the rest of the way in. For some reason this worked a lot better than trying to push it in with my fingers. I found this way glides straight into place and you can then tuck it up behind your pubic bone (you'll feel it).

The easiest way to remove was to crouch down in the shower and bear down (similarly to when you're pooping), this should push the disc closer to the entrance and make it easier for you to use your thumb and pointer finger to grab the loop and pull it out. This gets messy so again, do it in the shower. I emptied it once in the morning and once in the evening and found this to be sufficient for my needs. I bought a little tube of water-based lubricant to keep in the bathroom for when I need to insert the disc and this has been a huge help in getting the disc in smoothly. I would fully consider buying another disc as a spare/to rotate through during my cycle.

Was using tampons and pads for night time but just never was really comfortable.

Now been using the cup and it’s 10 times better at night much more comfortable.

Since now using menstrual cup I definitely won’t be going back I wish I tried it a long time ago you won’t be disappointed. They are also show you very well explained videos if you’re not sure.

I have used a few different menstrual discs but found they were either uncomfortable or hard to remove. This hey zomi disc though doesn't leak and is so easy to insert and remove, especially with lube. I avoid mess by using it in the shower in the morning and evening and on lighter days, there is no mess. Compared to hello disc, this coral coloured disc is stunning and it is softer and easy to use. I also tried the mimi disc and it was tacky and just felt uncomfortable. Hey Zomi is superior and I love they are Aussie sisters. Thanks hey zomi!

The hey zomi menstrual disc is the biggest game changer for my menstrual cycle! Insertion was easy, couldn’t feel it whilst it was in and loved that it only needed to be changed every 12 hours. I’ve tried a cup before and found it too difficult. Love that my period doesn’t create lots of rubbish anymore!

Love the cleaning cup, it is a brilliant tool whilst your using the disk, then when finished you can clean the disk and store away for next time.

This makes my life so much easier! No more stress and worry about leaks. No more sitting out because of my period. Amazing!!!

A bit of background: I have extremely heavy periods that last around eight days, and I’m also allergic to many sanitary products. Recently, while stuck in ED with my daughter, I leaked through all my spare pads and tampons and had to ask for supplies… only to have a severe allergic reaction to the pads they provided. It was honestly awful, especially on top of already heavy bleeding.

Over the years, I’ve tried multiple menstrual cups because I could see how much easier they should make life. But no matter what I did… different shapes, sizes, brands, I could never get them to work for me.

Before trying the disc, I actually sent the girls at Hey Zomi a DM with some questions, and they were so incredibly kind, patient, and helpful. That support alone made me feel much more confident giving it a go.

I was still a little apprehensive, but I felt like I had nothing to lose.

And it has been life-changing. Truly.

I pretty much mastered it straight away. There have been a few teething issues… insertions are easiest for me in the shower, and emptying definitely takes some practice but overall I am absolutely over the moon.

It has made running so much easier too. I would often bleed through tampons or end up irritated from pads while running, and this has completely eliminated that stress. Everything just feels so much more straightforward and manageable now.

I am honestly so impressed. This has genuinely changed my life.

First time user of the disc and a long time user of pads. IUD has been unsuccessful for me where I had daily spotting. I have used the disc for 3 cycles and it has been a lifesaver, wished I did try it earlier! I think of the disc as dam. I have uterine fibroids and have very heavy periods, this disc has allowed me time to get to the toilet and walk with ease. With the disc, I still have to put a pad as prevention; for me, the first 3 days it does flow onto the pad, changing in the shower is 100% easier and less messy. I have reduced the number of pads I used each cycle quite significantly. I have used the disc on day 4/5 and been snorkelling, and it has held up well! :) I definitely highly recommend to give it a try.

I’ve been using my Hey Zomi for a while now and found it so convenient even with needing to boil it each month. But the cleaning tablets have made it even more convenient. Highly recommend these, along with the cleaning cup, to make periods as hassle free as possible.
