I always been hesitant to use silicon products as alternative to pads and menstrual briefs. No leaks, no mess and stays in place. Ofcourse I tried it for intercourse too and its wonderful! Yey! Can recommend to all my girlies out there!

After using a menstrual cup previously and having a traumatic experience, I was on the look out for something alternative but reusable. I had been seeing Hey Zomi on Facebook for a while and was about to purchase one when I stumbled across one in Woolies! Perfect!
The disc is actually life changing. After only a couple of attempts and a quick FB message with the super helpful team at Hey Zomi, I felt like I had it mastered.
Post baby my periods are unpredictable and often heavy, I love that I can pop the disc in prior to when I am "due" and not be surprised by my periods having started unexpectedly.
No more spending money on tampons, amazing!
I am trying to convert all ofy friends and will try and sell this disc to anyone that will listen!

From the start , for some reason there was a differnt address in my shipping information ( my own fault ) , I messaged there instagram and they replied so quickly trying to assist me - I was able to redirect it and it got to my house within the week, my period came the next week , I was having trouble with it, still leaking

I reached out again .. AMAZING response time and a huge help, I had the disc in incorrectly and used her help to adjust it ! Not a single leak since, inserting now is SO easy! Basically like a tampon , WAY easier than my old cup which I could never get right and would always leak. I don’t get a bloody hand now that I’m using my disc!!!

I’ve used a menstrual cup for many year and that took some getting used to in the start, but the disk is just even easier. She goes in smoothly (which I sometimes found harder with the cup) but the Hey Zomi disk design is beautifully made. The little handle makes removal a breeze… I couldn’t be happier with this new find!

Honestly, I was super sceptical - never tried a cup or disc before, and tampons were never really my thing. Kept seeing the ads and thought, “alright, let’s give it a crack.” Took a bit to get the hang of the whole insert/remove situation, but once I did? Game changer. The little handle is genius - makes it way less awkward to get out. Didn’t think I’d ever recommend a period product, but here we are. Highly recommend!

I've always had super heavy periods and usually leak at one point or another every month. I thought this product was too good to be true at first, but after a couple of tries to get the placement right, my mind is blown! I love that I don't need to wear pads anymore and that I'm reducing period-related waste!

I ordered a hey Zomi disk to replace one I have had for about 5 years and also purchased the cleaning tablets.
The disc is good, it works like it says, the little handle makes for a super easy removal. It is smaller than my old one though so needs to be emptied more often on heavy days. (I would love the option of a larger disc for those heavy days)
The real MVP though is the cleaning tablets!
I figured I would put them to the rest with my old disk - she was quite stained and looking pretty sad, the cleaning tablets made it look like new! I was astounded. These are a must have!

I have, unfortunately, a plethora of endocrine and menstrual conditions which has left my body pretty wrecked, particularly sensitive to menstrual products and bleeding to some extent pretty much everyday. I cannot use tampons or period cups, and often have to consistently wear overnight/post-partum/extremely heavy pads which honestly feel like nappies and don’t make a gal feel quite like herself. I also would use period undies which helped but there are only so many period undies you can buy before your whole drawer is overtaken by them and you’re still changing them every few hours. On a whim, pure instinctual gut move (and some encouragement from my very supportive partner), I purchased the menstrual disc (full price) from Woolworths. Holy moly, I have not regretted it once. The freedom it has given me has been incredible. While I still have some discomfort using it (not to do with the product itself) it is, by leaps and bounds, better than ANY product I have tried and used in the past. If you’re considering it, do it. The peace of mind that comes with it is priceless and it is so user friendly, even for someone who has struggled so much in the past.
A huge thank you to the team for giving me my quality of life back, this product is incredible.

Love this product! Ive used diva cup for years but never really liked them, always leaking and never fit right, and actually hurt. The Zomi is so much better. So easy to use, fits comfortably and no leaking!! 11/10 recommend.

I was a bit trepidatious about using the disc as I have tried menstrual cups in the past. I am a heavy bleeder so I would end up leaking.
I was so sure the same thing would happen with the menstrual disc but I was pleasantly surprised there was no leakage.

It is easy to remove, clean and reinsert (the advice to try this in the shower the first time was really valuable - it's definitely easier to fold and position than a menstrual cup). I forgot I was wearing it!
