Why we chose major retail
We know that making the leap from disposable products to reusables can feel daunting. Price, access and visibility all play a role. That’s why we made the move into Woolworths stores nationwide – to make period care that’s better for your body, your wallet and the planet available right where you shop every week.
By placing Hey Zomi on the shelf alongside pads and tampons, we’re breaking down barriers and giving more people the chance to try something life-changing. We’ve also reduced our price point, because accessibility isn’t just about where you find us – it’s about making reusable care affordable too.
Our mission
At Hey Zomi, our mission is simple: to provide access to life-changing period care to anyone with a period. That means innovating products that actually work for real bodies, fighting stigma and making sustainable options the new norm.
It also means giving back. Through our partnership with Share the Dignity, we’ve donated thousands of discs to people experiencing period poverty. Because no one should have to choose between groceries and period care. We also provide free menstrual discs to the Eco Period Club, where teenagers from 13 to 19 years old can sign up through Share the Dignity online, and request a Hey Zomi menstrual disc. We are serious about giving everyone the opportunity to have a go (because it’s the only way we’ll know what works best for us).
