We did it, Hey Zomi just launched Period Underwear!

Hey Zomi period underwear just launched. It is Australian designed and owned.

So we made the period underwear we couldn’t find.

There’s something really special about finally sharing this.

After 18 months of testing, tweaking, wearing, washing, and starting again… our period underwear are here.

And honestly, they started from a place of pure period product frustration.

We had both tried so many different period undies over the years.

Some looked great but didn’t feel good.
Some were comfortable but bulky.
Some only felt good if you sized up.
And some just made you feel like you were wearing something… you didn’t want to wear.

We kept thinking the same thing: Why is it so hard to find a pair that actually fits properly, feels good, and works?

So we decided to make our own.

What followed was a lot more involved than we ever imagined.

We worked closely with our manufacturers, flew over to work with them in person, and went through sample after sample after sample.

We adjusted waistbands.
We changed fabrics.
We refined the absorbent layers.
We tested them through real life… long days, busy schedules, workouts, travel, and everything in between.

There were moments where we thought we had it right… and then wore them again and went straight back to tweaking this or that

Because “good enough” was never the goal.

We wanted them to feel like your favourite everyday underwear.

The kind you reach for without thinking.
The kind you forget you’re even wearing.
Just with built in protection that actually works.

What we ended up with are period undies that feel:

Comfortable
Supportive without being restrictive
Invisible under clothes

And designed for real bodies, real days, and real life.
