The Hey Zomi Reusable Menstrual Disc

Hey Zomi is so easy to use and I love the little bag for you to store it in. Cleaning it is easy and quick. My period care has had an upgrade!

I've used menstrual discs for many years, finding them a bit easier to use than cups, but not really enjoying them as I find them messier than cups. After misplacing my current disc, I decided to try a different brand and buy a Hey Zomi since it's Australian. I was hesitant about the little ring-pull, but figured I could always cut it off if it was too intrusive.

After my first cycle using the Hey Zomi, it's my new favourite of all time! I think the disc is ever so slightly smaller than the other one I've used, and I just found that tiny difference helped it fit me SO much better. There was even less "auro-dumping" when going to the loo - I felt like I had more control over it.

The disc itself has a sturdy ring, with no creases for blood to get stuck in, and the cup part is so soft and satisfying to touch that I joked I was going to buy a second one to use as a fidget toy, haha.

Zero leaking and zero issues with the ring pull - I actually found it much more useful than I thought I would when removing the disc, and it didn't stick out or get in the way. The sturdy ring of the disc still tucked itself behind my pelvic bone perfectly and the ring didn't affect that.

I also love the little cleaning tablets that came with it. I'll probably just stick to boiling the disc once I run out, but if they were sold in big bulk packs on their own, I'd consider purchasing them.

All in all, I am so glad to have tried this disc!

As someone who dreads their period each month, the menstrual disc changed my life! I wear to do everything and was very nervous to wear it at the gym, but after a multiple cycles I can confirm I’ve ever had an issue! It is super easy to clean, and may take a bit to get use to but testing off my cycle helped me position and get comfortable.
I recommend this product to everyone!
The fact you can just put it in and essentially forgot is magical!

I bought this Zomi disc on special, thinking that I'd switch over when it got here, but then it sat on my shelf in its little box for over 6 months, until now when I bit the bullet a few days ahead of my period. And ... wow, it just worked for me. I don't feel it when it's in place. I love that it doesn't use suction (like a lot of other period cups on the market), and I love that it's so easy to put in its place and tuck up. It works with my body and I enjoy that it can semi-empty when you go to the toilet. It gives me great confidence to continue with my daily activities.

I had previously tried period cups and they never worked well for me, the sizing was all over the place and the suction feature was difficult to get right. This Zomi disc ... I love it. I am kicking myself that I didn't start using it earlier!!

So comfortable and easy to use

I love this product, it gives med the best experience! I have other discs but this is so far the best one. One small thing is that I bought the white version, though I have used the pills to soak it overnight, it sill has some stains. I hope Heyzomi can lunch some other colors and I would love to purchase.

I had contemplated trying the disc out however I'd been intimidated by size and not knowing how soft the silicone was. I have used a period cup for the last 5 years and after getting some health news, it has become uncomfortable wear so I was looking for another solution. I wish I switched sooner. I expected it to take multiple tries to get it right - I got it the first go in less than 20 seconds. I can't feel it, its easy to wear and I am not fiddling around with it the same way I'd do with a cup. The silicone is soft and very flexible and now they are stocked in Woolies, it was so easy to grab and try.
