Check out our 'How to Use' page to find out more about the HZ menstrual disc and all our tips and tricks in our FAQs.

The Hey Zomi disc is 65mm in diameter and has a capacity of 52ml.

The rim of the disc is soft to medium firmness.

Sterilise your disc before each period by boiling in water for 3 minutes.

You do not need to clean your disc during your period, simply remove, rinse clean and reinsert.

We recommend boiling your disc before your next period, so that it is clean and ready to go.

Store your disc in your little cotton Hey Zomi bag or box inbetween your periods.

Made in Australia from medical grade silicone. Australian quality controlled and safety certified.

You disc is not a contraceptive device. Please use protection.
IMPORTANT- Menstrual cups/discs have been associated with Toxic Shock Syndrome (TSS). TSS is a rare but serious disease that may cause death.

Life changing

I was hesitant initially but omg this has made my life so much easier when I’m on my period. As a uni student often on placement for long hours it has been so much nicer having the disc. Instead of worrying about how long a pad/tampon will last, going to the bathroom multiple times a day to change pads/tampons, I don’t even think about it because it lasts so long. I love that you can use it 24/7 (washing/wiping it out every 12hrs). It comes with clear instructions and can be used very reliably once you’ve had some practice with the placement of it. I’d recommend the disc to anyone.

From someone super skeptical

So hi, I don’t make up my mind easy. I’m also some one who just started getting a regular period at 37 due to medication. Thanks PCOS. I had never tried a cup and missed the trend cause as a money saver I only needed to buy 2 packets of tampons a year. Now she’s a monthly girly $$$. I was sick of carrying around and changing pads and because I’ve also lost weight my period undies won’t fit and leaked. I was fed up and this add popped up at the right time.

LADIES. LADIES. RUN. Don’t walk.

This Disc, a little lube is all she needs. Other than the usual cramping I forgot I was on my period. You leave it in all day! I remove mine in the shower at night. Yes it’s a horror movie worth of blood all at once (sometime less due to the SELF EMPTYING- I’ll get into that) but no more musty smelly pads no more tugging hoping she’s wet. She slides out, rinse and slip her back in.
Now the self emptying, have you ever heard of such sorcery?? Initially, I thought the first time I went for a pee ‘damn it, I must have gotten in wrong and it’s leaking’ when I saw blood when I wiped. I was out at a public toilet so ( I know how trusting of me- no pad in the bag for back up) being out I also didn’t wanna go digging up there. I so cleaned my self up and thought I’ll deal with the leak a bit later, I was almost home. I get home to clean undies- puzzled, I left it in with no adjustments. I went back on the zomi page for tips on how to insert then I finally read about the self emptying when you pee. Magic. Bloody magic.
I’ve told everyone who I know bleeds since I refuse to shut up until I see them purchasing the disc. FYI- there should be a referral discount.
Do it. If you’ve read this far and you’re still thinking, DO IT. And get the black- we see enough as women.

Freedom!

This is my second cycle using the disc and the experience has been great. I was a long-time cup user but decided to give the disc a go hoping it would be easier to insert than the cup - it is! I think it would be quite a learning curve for anyone not familiar with internal anatomy but the demo video was very helpful in locating the cervix and pubic bone to ensure correct positioning - easier than I expected. Best of all I have had absolutely zero leaks despite being extremely active every day at work, Pilates and dance classes involving a lot of jumping and shimmying! I love the freedom to move and also wear my normal clothes, leggings and underwear since the disc is 100% internal. It’s almost like not having a period!

Simple, Eco and Aussie

I've been using my disc for a few months now and I am so incredibly happy. After having my children I wanted something that was convenient and comfortable. This disc has exceeded my expectations. I can wear it all day without any of the discomfort I had when using a menstrual cup, and the easy empty method is brilliant - I can wear it all day, then remove it and clean it properly in the shower each night. The fact that it's Aussie made is a lovely little bonus.
Thanks for all the FAQs and helpful tips too!

Great fit

Super happy with the fit. Tried the hello disc before zomi and found that it was too firm, it would affect my bladder and make putting it in uncomfortable. However I've been using zomi for 2 months now and it's been perfect, softer rim, easy to insert and I haven't had any bladder sensitivity with it.

Would recommend

This has changed my entire period experience. It’s easy to use and very comfortable. I had never used a cup but heard mixed things, so opted for the disc. Would recommend it for sure!

Genius design!

Whoever designed this menstrual disc is a genius! It functions well and is easy to use. After using a menstrual cup, the disc has taken everything that didn’t work well with that design and fixed it. Thank you so much - the disc is a game changer!
