- Microwave - Fill with hot, boiled water, place your disc inside, cover with the lid (leave it slightly open for steam), and microwave on high for 3 minutes.
Handle with care - The cup and water will be hot after heating. The silicone is soft and flexible, so take extra care when removing.

You can boil your disc before your period begins, so that your disc is ready to use. Sanitise it at the end of your period, storing it for the month in the little carry bag, so that it is ready for action. Then, when your period arrives, just rinse the disc to remove any fluff or dust and you can use it right away.
During your period, you rinse it each time you remove it in clean water and then just pop it back in to do its thing. Super simple!
Want an even easier cleaning option? Our hey zomi cleaning tablets are a convenient alternative to boiling - just dissolve in water, soak your menstrual disc, and you're done!
