The Hey Zomi Reusable Menstrual Disc

I like the product however I think it would have only been good for me before having kids. It unfortunately leaks continuously and I have to use other supplementary products too. Similar effectiveness to tampons.

As someone who wanted to move towards more sustainable menstrual products but was a bit skeptical about practicality and ease of use, I cannot rate the hey zomi disc highly enough.
I’ve always had very heavy periods and have never been able to avoid overnight leaks or frequent toilet trips while out and about, until using this disc. The way this product has positively impacted my whole experience during the week of my period has been such a pleasant surprise. If you’re on the fence, I highly recommend giving it a go! I wish I had sooner :)

This was recommended by my natropath. I was a little sceptical but decided to give it a go. I thought it would take some getting use to and trial and error to find the correct fitment However I figured it out pretty quick and I wasn't able to feel it whilst using. All round great product that is more comfortable than a tampon. Also LOVE that it is an Australian product! Well done ladies, you've nailed it! Thank you 😊🌱

I decided to try a disc after giving up on a cup, cups just weren't right for me and after trying the disc for 2 cycles now it's very clear that the disc is the perfect solution for me! The silicone is so thin and soft it really is like nothing is in there. And with the little handle is super easy to help guide into place, and then remove. The first period I tried it yes there was a little mess with emptying while I got the hang of it, so it's a great idea to try it on a day you're at home. By the second period I knew what I was doing, I highly recommend watching all the tips videos, they are very helpful! Especially the tiny bit of lube when you're first trying it out, and if inserting in the shower lube is the trick!

I love the freedom of the disc, no need to carry tampons around, my overnight period undies are going to have to be retired! On heavier days it serves me approx 6-8 hours, but on lighter days I can just set and forget for 12 hours. Brilliant. My favourite thing is as soon as I start spotting at the start of a period, I can insert the disc and I'm sorted for the day, no more wearing a liner wondering when my flow will kick in enough for a tampon.

I have worn the disc in a Zumba class, and while swimming, it's a bloody winner!

I had been avoiding wearing tampons for years as I feel like I push them out with my very severe cramps. I was so surprised to see that the hey zone disc not only didn’t get pushed out, it was so comfortable, mess free and easy to use. Seriously takes all the hassle out of my period either way this one easy simple product!
